Thanks for Your Support
Patches for the Cure drawing took place on November 16 during the Revolutionary Trails Volunteer Recognition event. Friends of the Slator family from Troop 18 Cazenovia, organized this fundraiser to offset non-medical expenses of Molly Slator. Molly is an honor student and athlete at Stockbridge Valley Central School and is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. The organizers would like to thank all who contributed more than 400 patches, scouting neckerchiefs, hats, Norman Rockwell prints and 2 day packs. Over $1,150 will be sent to the Jonathan Cancer Fund in Syracuse for the use of the Slator Family.
Winners of the 5 BSA Patch Collections are: Clarence Boulerice, Paul Zurbruegg, Richard Fralick, Kevin Rautenstraugh, and Harold Knox. The collection of BSA themed Norman Rockwell prints was won by Ford Seymour and daypacks will go to Ryan Goldacker and Jim Lee.
Caz Cans owner Jessica Amidon held an ongoing can and bottle drive during the month of October to benefit the Slator family. Thanks to those who donated, $100 was raised. Miss Amidon donated her profits from the containers donated during the drive.
Please keep the Slator family in your prayers.
